More about Zac:"Known in a former life as Tannie".
The light of my life is my family. I am blessed to have three families:
My first family includes my wife Pat (since 1982) and two daughters, Laurel ('83), and Erin ('85), the alien.
My second family includes my ex-wife Rose, my son Zac IV ('73) and his son Zac V ('05) whom we call Cinco, and my daughter Gretchen ('75), her husband ('99) Eric Taylor, and their two sons Dylan ('04) and Bo ('06). Yup. I'm a grandpa!
My third family is my extended family, people that I love dearly and that are an important part of my life. They include the people (and their families) that I have sung with and traveled with over the years; the friends of my kids from high school, college, soccer, water polo (and other sports), literary club, and work; and, colleagues and students from my academic life. Each morning, with the rising sun, I commune with the people I backpacked and camped with and with whom I celebrated the warmth of the sunlight and the renewal of a new day.".
